Safety centre
Effective October 1, 2026
The current tools help coordinate trips; they do not replace emergency services, licensed operations or insurance.
Before entering
Check the driver identity, vehicle and plate against your confirmed trip. Do not enter a different vehicle. Give your ride-start PIN only after verifying the match. Driver eligibility review, portrait verification and applicable screening must be complete before service opens.
During the trip
Use seatbelts and appropriate child restraints. You can use trip messages and share a text summary of trip details. Matched riders see the driver’s latest location timestamp; it may become stale if the connection or browser is suspended. This is not a continuous emergency-monitored share link.
If something goes wrong
Call 911 for immediate danger and move to a safe place when possible. Report the trip through Support and preserve relevant details. You may block a trip partner from future matches. The support form is not monitored as a guaranteed 24-hour emergency service; support staffing and escalation arrangements must be in place before launch.
What is not currently offered
The workspace does not offer automated crash detection, audio recording, phone-number masking, a staffed emergency dispatch connection or reliable mobile background tracking. Those require additional integrations, operational processes and validation. In-app messaging keeps personal phone numbers out of the booking interface.
