Rider and platform terms
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms govern the RAYET website, accounts and enabled ride features operated by Rayet Technologies Inc. Read them with our privacy notice, community standards and cancellation policy. The workspace is available before transportation launches; a website deployment does not mean rides are available.
Accounts and eligibility
Account holders must be at least 18 and legally able to enter these terms. Provide accurate information, verify your email, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized activity. Do not share accounts or impersonate another person. Minors may travel only with a responsible adult under applicable child-restraint rules; unaccompanied-minor service is not offered.
What RAYET provides
RAYET provides technology to request trips, compare driver offers, communicate and facilitate payments. Transportation may be offered only in approved areas by eligible drivers. Driver legal status and the allocation of responsibilities are subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement; these terms do not waive any statutory employment, consumer, accessibility or safety protection. Availability, estimated arrival and journey times are not guaranteed.
Offers and confirmation
Route estimates produce a minimum, recommended and maximum base fare. Riders propose a fare inside that range. Eligible drivers may accept, counter or decline; competing driver offers are sealed. A rider selects an offer and completes the displayed payment. A trip becomes confirmed only after the payment provider verifies payment. Selecting a favourite does not guarantee availability or acceptance. An unconfirmed request or payment reservation may expire.
Price and payment
The agreed base fare, applicable tax and total are displayed before payment. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted payment pages and are not stored by RAYET. Drivers receive the agreed fare less the disclosed platform fee; tips belong entirely to the driver. Tax is identified separately and its collection/remittance must follow the approved operating arrangement. Mandatory pass-through fees and tolls must be configured and disclosed before service opens; no undisclosed charge may be added automatically. RAYET currently charges no automated cancellation, cleaning, damage or waiting fee. We may correct errors and refund or investigate unauthorized or duplicate payments.
Ride responsibilities
Confirm the driver, vehicle and licence plate before entering. Share your start PIN only when at the correct vehicle. Wear seatbelts; arrange suitable child restraints; do not exceed lawful passenger capacity. Choose safe lawful pickup points. Do not distract the driver, carry unlawful goods, threaten anyone, discriminate or use the service while creating an immediate safety risk. Drivers may refuse an unsafe or unlawful trip; refusals must not violate human-rights or accessibility obligations.
Cancellations, refunds and complaints
See the cancellation/refund policy. Contact support about failed, unsafe or incomplete service, missing items or payment disputes. RAYET may preserve records, restrict an account, reverse a payment or refer incidents to appropriate authorities as permitted or required by law. A suspension may be reviewed on request; immediate restrictions may be necessary for safety. The support form is not an emergency dispatch service.
Content and permitted use
You retain rights to your submitted reviews and messages. You grant RAYET permission to process and display them only as needed to operate, protect and improve the service. Do not submit unlawful, abusive or infringing content, scrape private data, circumvent access controls, manipulate ratings or interfere with the platform. RAYET branding and software remain owned by their respective rights holders.
Service limitations and liability
Use reasonable care and understand the ordinary risks of road travel. Technology and external providers can fail. RAYET will exercise the care required by applicable law. No provision excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, responsibility for unlawful conduct, or rights concerning injury, discrimination and privacy. Any additional allocation or limitation of liability requires legally valid terms and does not remove mandatory rights.
Disputes and changes
Contact info@getrayet.com first so we can seek a resolution. Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law govern, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdictional rights that apply to you. These terms impose no mandatory private arbitration or class-action waiver. Material changes will be announced in the workspace and require renewed acceptance before affected ride features. Updated terms apply prospectively; accrued statutory rights remain intact.
