Privacy notice

This notice explains how RAYET handles personal information through its pre-launch interest website. No ride service is available on this website.

Information we collect

If you register, we collect your name, email, city, province or state, country and whether you want to ride, drive or both. You may provide a phone number, postal code, referral details, rideshare usage, driver platforms and comments. We also record your separate email and SMS choices, their timestamps, the consent wording and version, and browser information.

We use a keyed hash of your IP address for abuse prevention and consent records. We do not store the raw IP address in the waitlist database. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses and request metadata in security and operational logs. Do not submit health, financial, licence or other sensitive information in the comments.

How we use it

We use your information to record launch interest, understand demand by location and rider or driver preference, prevent duplicate and abusive submissions, maintain consent records and respond to privacy requests. We will send launch announcements and launch-related updates only through the channels you separately consent to. You can join without either communication consent.

Service providers and location

The site is designed to use Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database storage. These providers process information to operate and secure the service. Information may be processed outside your province or Canada and be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We do not sell the waitlist. Twilio and an email delivery provider are planned for launch messaging; sending is currently disabled.

Retention and protection

Access to waitlist records is restricted to authorized operations. We retain information while it is needed for the pre-launch purposes described here, and review inactive interest records at least annually. When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted or anonymized, subject to legal obligations. Limited consent or suppression records may be retained to document your choices and prevent unwanted contact.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion using the contact below. We may ask for enough information to verify your request. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. A repeated public signup cannot overwrite an existing record or its consent; contact us to make changes.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Hosting infrastructure may use essential security mechanisms. We do not request your device location or display live driver locations.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change. A ride service will require additional privacy information before launch.
